Grown under bright blue skies at the foothills of snow caped MT. Kilimanjaro and kissed daily by the African sun, this specialty tea is not only carefully handpicked and handcrafted using traditional African earthenware, but also grown organically. While producing an exquisite selection of unique teas, Bente Luther Medoch and her Team are continuously working on new experiments and methods to create magical teas. In one of their latest projects, they oxidized tea in fruits that are locally grown.
This Kilimanjaro Oolong is processed with Papayas, which result is just pure leaf tea with a fine but remarkable hint of Papaya. The Kilimanjaro offers a nice microclimate and together with the volcanic soil it makes the taste of this tea very special. Oolong tea combines the qualities of black and green teas, giving it a splash of Papaya rounds the magic up.
